„In my life, I have often experienced how much origin and role models influence what people trust themselves to do. This makes it all the more important to create spaces that encourage rather than limit. As Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Diversity, I am working to ensure that exactly such spaces are created at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences. „You’ve come to the right place“ describes the attitude that guides me: a university that empowers people – regardless of gender, origin or attribution – and trusts them to shape their own path. I have been involved in the WoMent project since the very beginning, because it makes courage concrete: through networks, through exchange and by making role models visible. WoMent shows how equality can succeed – by encouraging women to contribute their perspectives and develop their potential with confidence.“
