„My first professional stations in business brought me into various industries and cultures. It was often not easy as a young woman in male domains, such as microelectronics, and patriarchal markets such as South America. Regardless of differences and role patterns, I became aware early on that value orientation and attitude bring about authenticity and create trust. Today, as a professor and rector, it is a privilege and a responsibility to be able to develop young people in equal measure. For their own careers, but also for the future viability of our region. It is an incentive for me to be a role model for young women, to give them the courage to become visible, to stand up for goals and to take responsibility.“
