This statement is shared by the woman featured and offers a personal and authentic insight into the thoughts, experiences, and perspectives that shape her professional journey.

The Gender Equality & Role Models theme highlights how she questions traditional role models and opens new pathways toward greater equality.

The following statement captures her reflections on the topic of GENDER EQUALITY & ROLE MODELS:

„Growing up in the Swabian Alb, I was one of the first girls to switch directly from primary school to grammar school in 1968 – encouraged by my teacher and my mother. For girls without an academic background, this was by no means a matter of course at the time. This experience still shapes me today: I am committed to ensuring that all young people can develop their talents free of role expectations and regardless of gender and origin. This requires the best support in daycare centers and schools. In addition, I am committed to improving the compatibility of family and career and encourage women with families to take on leadership responsibility.“

I represent the City of Heilbronn in numerous municipal and regional committees. I am also a member of the Rotary Club Heilbronn – Neckartal and the Women Leaders Network of the Heilbronn region (FührungsfrauenNetzwerk Raum Heilbronn e.V.).

In a professional context, I stand for creating the necessary framework conditions and raising awareness for gender equality, the compatibility of family and work, and equal opportunities. I have served as a mentor for women in leadership and participate enthusiastically in Girls‘ Day every year.
